What are we feeding our kids? Students empowered to send in photographs of bad school lunches
An organisation in the USA, Fed Up, has started an online revolution of students who were sick (sometimes literally) of the meals they were being served for school lunches.
Everyone knows that the idea of taking a photo of your food is now so popular that half of Facebook is food photos, but this organisation allowed students to send in photos of meals that are less than desirable.
Their main aim is to "start a conversation" and to ensure that schools "provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day".
Unfortunately here are some of the worst school lunches:
"Nachos"
"Noodle Surprise"
"Pasta"
"Pizza"
"Pork Slop"

I doubt if the kids would eat these. Aside from being unhealthy, the food doesn't even look good and appetizing.
I agree Mike. (and thanks for the comment).
'Noodle surprise' - when it comes back, now that's a surprise! Fiona
