The Wednesday Word - mussitate

Today’s word is mussitate, which is one of the best words I have heard in a while because it means to silently move your lips in simulation of audible speech.

Here is my quote for it:

“He demanded respect, despite his hearing difficulties, but his colleagues continued to mussitate and then laugh when he couldn’t hear them”.
