I have come up with a new invention - what about a nappy that in all other respects is the same as a normal nappy but has a very small clear plastic window or section into the back part of the nappy so you can tell whether the baby needs a new nappy. This would avoid having to pull the elastic back in order to peer down into the chasm of possible baby poo.
If you are a nappy developer feel free to steal this idea. If you are not, then feel free to ignore it, if you haven't already.

Why is seeing baby poo ALL THE TIME better than seeing it only when you need to?
Consider incorporating a small curtain.
Even better - a small curtain.
It will make millions, I'm sure.
