The wednesday Word - nerdacity

Today's wednesday word is nerdacity. I am not sure whether it is a real word, but I use it to mean the propensity or boldness of someone to appreciate nerd aspects.

"After having purchased his eighth book on the correct way to decline a passive verb in both Latin and Greek , his nerdacity became overwhelming."
