See you on Thursnight

I was pondering on the english language the other day and thought how silly it is that we all say "see you on ThursDAY NIGHT". Why is there no Monnight, Tuesnight, Wednesnight etc?

This will be my contribution to the english language - a one syllable saving when describing the night of a day.
