Wouldn't this just mean that when you have more energy, the housework takes less time, and when you have less energy, the housework takes longer? The never-ending-ness of housework comes from things just getting dirty again! Grr.
True. It could mean that. Perhaps I should have put 'available' in front of the word time. So it means when you have more energy to do housework you less available time, and when you have more available time to do the housework you have less energy and can't be bothered.
Hope that makes sense or more sense now.
