Keep your ears open

When I get to heaven, one of the questions I will be dying (literally) to ask God is why we have to sleep so long every day, as well
as why, given the first situation, we weren’t given earlids to help us sleep so long every day. I really think they would have been quite helpful. I make good use of my eyelids, in fact I use them every day, but have never worked out why we were not given the same good fortune of having earlids.

If anyone has any comments, ideas, theories, or suggestions as to why this lack of lids has happened, my ears are open (if you know what I mean).
