The Wednesday Word - turdiform
Today's Wednesday word is turdiform. It comes from the latin 'turdus' and it suprisingly means to be shaped or to appear like a thrush (bird). It is probably a once in a lifetime word so make it count.
Here is my quote for it:
"None of the birdman competitors soared like an eagle, there were a few interesting turdiform flyers, but the vast majority, albeit well dressed, slipped off the edge like a penguin."

Turdiform is a word I have decided never to use. I am sure that that the latin turdus did not have any of the current connotations.
