Despite having nothing to do with the Catholic Church, I too consider it an honour that our city is to host World Youth Day ("Church of Rome hath erred, but Anglicans won't rain on Pope's parade”, May 27). We are called “to be hospitable not only to people with whom we agree but also to those with whom we disagree”. The principle follows that we should always tolerate people, but perhaps not always ideas.
