So the NRMA is worried that the new Epping cycle way has effectively cost $300,000 for every one of the 25 cyclists who use that lane each day (“Money wasted on cyclists: NRMA”, January 10). If the figures are accurate, does this mean that by giving away 25 bikes to riders who promise to use the path we could halve the cost?
