Gary Bouma states that secularism is not a neutral stance but is itself an ideology that is inimical to religions (“Professor calls on universities to find religion”, September 5). Education is not a neutral stance but is itself an ideology that is inimical to ignorance. Medicine is not a neutral stance but is itself an ideology that is inimical to sickness and disease. Being inimical to religion isn’t the problem. Being anti-God is.
