Wikipedia is billed as a “free encyclopedia that anyone can edit”, yet government officials have now been “caught” on the site (“PM staff edited Wikipedia”, August 24). Can somebody please explain – is it the potential for propaganda, the lack of trust (in either the government or the website), or the fact that it was done during work time that has caused the latest problem?
