Why is it that England can ban smoking from all public areas, offices and other enclosed or partially enclosed places of work (“Smoking ban introduced in England”, July 2), while New South Wales is barely able to ban it from pubs and clubs (“Hotels threaten to stop political donations over smoking ban”, July 2)? Are we so behind the times?
